ShiftMonday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with some evening and weekend work as needed.
Job SummaryThe Academic Advisor II will work with students through direct one‑on‑one advising, including but not limited to providing information on course selection and registration, interpreting and explaining university and college policies and degree requirements, assisting students to identify skill interests and career options, and advising students on academic‑related issues specific to that individual student. The Academic Advisor II will regularly monitor student progress towards degree, considering current coursework and any previously earned credit to assist the student with maintaining timely degree completion.
In addition, the Academic Advisor II will assist with multiple orientations/advising conferences throughout the academic year.
