Sr. Electrical Design Engineer, you will work closely with architectural, mechanical and structural department colleagues on a variety of projects.
Requirements EDUCATION/ PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALSBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
- Professional Engineer Registration in at least one State
- Ability to seek PE comity/ reciprocity with other State Registration Boards
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Minimum 15 years of experience designing and providing construction administration for facilities as a design consultant (more experience is desirable)
- Knowledge of Military, Justice, Commercial, or water treatment desirable
- Basic knowledge of building, electrical, fire codes and standards to determine engineering calculations, equipment sizing and selection for different voltage systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Revit desirable
- Visual Pro and/or AGI
32 experience desirable - Past facilitation of LEED Certification or Green Globes desirable
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to plan project resources, maintain schedules and stay within budget
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
