Position: Airedale Stock Selector - Natural Bridge 9am-5:30pm

Position Description

Unloads incoming and outgoing materials using powered industrial trucks, manual hand trucks, straddle carrier and overhead cranes or hoists. Keeps records of all incoming and outgoing materials, and notifies appropriate personnel of insufficient order quantities, unacceptable quality or inventory discrepancies. Records and reports are completed on the computer using appropriate software.

Key Responsibilities

Visually inspect incoming materials for noticeable defects. Notifies supervisor or other personnel of insufficient order quantities, unacceptable defects, or inventory discrepancies.

Transports incoming materials to appropriate department of storage areas using powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks, or overhead crane or hoist.

Uses computer and current software (SAP) to process shipments and generate reports.

Reports improper equipment operation to supervisor.

Responsible for keeping storage yard neat, clean and orderly.

Responsible for keeping accurate outgoing material transactions.

Other essential functions as may be assigned.

Required Education & Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Requires reading, writing, adding, subtracting, ability to operate powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks, and following of instructions. Must be able to successfully master all elements of training control document for this job.
