The Shipping and Warehouse Associate is responsible for fulfilling shipping orders from the Aftermarket Service Department. This role involves locating and transporting items from the warehouse to the staging area using powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks. Additional responsibilities include assisting with warehouse operations such as unloading shuttle trucks, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires familiarity with all items manufactured or purchased by the company and the ability to perform daily equipment inspections.
The associate must also be capable of filling in for the Coordinator when needed, requiring knowledge of all major aspects of the Coordinator's role.
- Locate and retrieve items and quantities per pick list; transport to staging area using powered industrial trucks and manual hand trucks.
- Assist drivers with loading and stacking items onto trucks by hand or with equipment.
- Verify all shipments against pick lists for accuracy.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including unloading shuttle trucks and organizing items in designated storage areas.
- Manage Field Technician uniform inventory and prepare uniform shipments for new hires.
- Accurately record time and production data.
- Work an eight-hour shift aligned with plant operations; periodic overtime, including weekends, may be required based on production schedules.
- Train new or transferred employees as assigned.
- Perform other essential functions as directed by management.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent - Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
