Job DescriptionPay Rate - $26.73
The Line Observer monitors conveyors, automatic inspection equipment, and case packers for obstructions to ensure they are operating properly and ensure lines are continuously supplied with cartons.
The Line Observer will:
- Unjamlines, remove obstructions from conveyor, automatic inspection equipment, and case packerto maintain continuous processing of ware.
- Monitor and perform frequency checks on bottle and carton coders, CMI's, carton printing, gluing bottle detectors, and discard defective ware to cullet conveyor.
- Empty and discard down ware and cullet in roll outpans.
- Turns off equipment in case of malfunction and notifies supervisor or maintenance.
- Hand pack as necessary or when case packer is malfunctioning and off-load filled cartons when full carton line is down.
The Line Observer should have:
- Previous experience working in manufacturing or production.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Shift: rotating 8 hour shifts
