Overview
The Lane Bryant Associate is responsible for creating a hospitable store environment using customer engagement that contributes to the achievement of company goals.
Responsibilities- Identify customer needs and wants with curiosity and confidence through intentional conversation.
- Use company resources to reinforce the brand experience and build strong, enduring relationships.
- Share and represent current products, fit and fashion trends with customers to appropriately wardrobe, inspire, and build trust.
- Support operational energy as needed, including maintaining equipment and store fixtures.
- Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
- Protect company assets and maintain a safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient and confident in utilizing mobile technology such as registers and iPad to engage with customers.
- Capable of adjusting and moving store fixtures, including garment racks, mannequins, and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.
- Able to retrieve merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level and occasionally use a 12‑foot ladder for tasks such as replacing overhead light bulbs and signs.
