Sales Counselor

About the Role

Estimated first‑year earnings range: $50,000 - $60,000. Uncapped commission and earnings. Training Pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

This position sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through a combination of walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing or Sales preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required; off‑site appointments and mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience using a CRM preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Availability to work holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
