Job Title

Warehouse Assistant – Facilities Management

Job Duties
  • Coordinate delivery of freight and movement of surplus property with customers both internal and external to the department.
  • Issue materials to maintenance teams and track inventory within Computerized Maintenance Management System, Megamation.
  • Coordinate delivery of requested material through work order system.
  • Support Supply mission by assisting with annual inventory audit.
  • Utilize the CMMS Megamation to account for inventory and recover costs through the work order system.
  • Receive a variety of shipments for VMI, verifying and entering receipt of each shipment into CMMS inventory system.
  • Compare packing slips against purchase orders, count items for verification, and indicate any discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory control for all items ensuring that all items are properly identified and readily accessible.
  • Offload freight and stock shelves in central location as each delivery arrives; assist in general maintenance and clean‑up of stockroom.
  • Operate the forklift to pull, load, and move merchandise and materials.
  • Operate a delivery vehicle with liftgate.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with computers a must.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of packages required.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Additional Considerations
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations preferred to utilize computerized inventory control system.
  • High school diploma or GED.
