About the Role – Lead Electrician (Domestic & Multi‑Skilled)

As a Multi‑Skilled Electrician, you’ll carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and installations across our housing stock.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role where you’ll work in both occupied and void properties, supporting tenants by keeping homes safe, compliant, and comfortable.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and small installations
  • Diagnosing faults and completing work right the first time
  • Completing inspection & testing (EICR) where qualified
  • Ensuring compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations
  • Working safely and respectfully in tenants’ homes
  • Supporting void property turnaround for faster re‑lets
  • Using mobile technology to manage and update jobs in real time
  • Completing basic making‑good (minor joinery/plumbing) where required
  • Participating in the on‑call rota (1 in 20 weeks)

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a qualified Electrician who takes pride in delivering high‑quality work and excellent customer service.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in domestic electrical work
  • Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Experience working in occupied/tenanted properties
  • Confident using mobile job management systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to participate in on‑call rota
  • Experience in social housing or local authority maintenance
