Plant Accounting Assistant Join Our Team

Conestoga Energy Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Plant Accounting Assistant to support the daily accounting, purchasing, administrative, and human resources functions at our facility.

This role serves as a key connection between plant operations and the corporate office, helping ensure invoices, purchase orders, inventory transactions, and shipment records are processed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with numbers and documentation, and have a strong commitment to accuracy and customer service.

What You’ll Do
  • Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and accounts payable transactions
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and inventory records
  • Support rail and truck ethanol load‑out documentation and billing activities
  • Assist with month‑end accounting and reporting functions
  • Coordinate administrative activities, filing, correspondence, and office support
  • Support onboarding, training documentation, and other HR‑related activities
  • Partner with plant leadership and the corporate accounting team to ensure timely and accurate recordkeeping
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Administrative, accounting, bookkeeping, or office support experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a team‑oriented environment
Preferred Experience
  • Accounts payable or purchasing experience
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems
  • Manufacturing, agricultural, ethanol, or industrial experience
  • Inventory control or logistics documentation experience
