Truck Driving Instructor

Seward County Community College (SCCC) is hiring a CDL Truck Driving Instructor.

• Prepare, teach, and conduct laboratory courses, develop syllabi, and facilitate student learning in classroom and lab settings.
• Instruct in a live work environment; recruit, advise, tutor, and evaluate students.
• Teaching assignments may include evening courses.
• Engage in learning-support and instructional practices, advising and mentoring students, and participate in team‑based and governance activities.
• Implement assessment measures to achieve course, program, and college learning outcomes.
• Incorporate best‑practice pedagogies and expand instructional delivery options available to students.
• Demonstrate and maintain competence throughout employment at the college.

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• CDL license required.
• Previous teaching in community college or secondary education preferred but not required.
