Overview

Capture Point is an oil and gas company with operations in Texas and Oklahoma. Our current assets are primarily CO2-enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects that utilize a significant volume of anthropogenic CO2 to recover oil that would not otherwise be retrieved from existing oil fields. Capture Point is seeking a dynamic, experienced Pipeline Operator to oversee the safe, efficient operation of critical oil and gas pipeline systems, ensuring uninterrupted flow, system integrity, and regulatory compliance across transmission and distribution networks. You will monitor and control pipeline operations, SCADA systems, pressure levels, and product movement while performing inspections and preventative maintenance that reduce downtime and environmental risk.

You will play a key role in pipeline safety, DOT and PHMSA compliance, emergency response readiness, and operational excellence—helping deliver reliable energy across the midstream and pipeline industry.

• High school diploma or GED with related experience or training in oil and gas pipeline operations, midstream facilities, or energy infrastructure; familiarity with pipeline systems, product movement, and field operations preferred
• Working knowledge of pipeline safety standards and regulatory compliance, including DOT, PHMSA, and OSHA requirements, with a demonstrated commitment to safe, environmentally responsible operations
• Technical aptitude in SCADA systems, control room operations, pressure monitoring, and flow rate management, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams) for operational reporting and documentation
• Ability to interpret pipeline operating procedures, maintenance manuals, P&IDs, and safety documentation, apply mathematical calculations (flow, ratios, percentages), and troubleshoot routine operational issues
• Dependable, safety-driven professional with effective communication skills, capable of coordinating with field technicians and control room teams, maintaining punctual attendance, and traveling to pipeline and oil & gas facilities as required

• Monitor and control oil and gas pipeline systems using SCADA, ensuring proper flow rates, pressure control, and system integrity across transmission and midstream operations
• Operate and adjust valves, pumps, and compressors while performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on pipelines and related equipment
• Respond to alarms, abnormal operating conditions, and emergencies in accordance with DOT, PHMSA, OSHA, and environmental compliance standards
• Maintain accurate operational logs and reports, coordinating with control room operators and field teams to support safe, efficient pipeline operations
