What You'll Do
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, urinalysis, blood bank, and coagulation
- Support patient care by accurately processing and analyzing specimens
- Cross-train on night shift for rare coverage needs
- Follow lab protocols to ensure quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with technical and medical staff in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Contribute to a wide range of testing for outpatient clinics and hospital departments
- Assist in microbiology and chemistry lead tech duties if qualified
What You Need
Required:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science
- Phlebotomy certification
- Ability to work flexible day or evening shifts, including every 3rd weekend or alternate weekends for evening shifts
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in hospital laboratory settings
- Knowledge of a broad range of laboratory testing techniques
About the Assignment Join a 110-bed hospital equipped with diverse units including ER, ICU, surgery, OB, and outpatient services. The laboratory provides comprehensive testing services to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Staff are cross-trained for flexibility to meet patient care needs around the clock.
