** Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) – Administration
** Southwest Medical Center is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic leadership for nursing services and patient care operations. The CNO is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, workforce engagement, and operational efficiency throughout the organization.
** Qualifications
* ** Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
* Possess a postgraduate degree in Nursing or a related field, or have a written plan approved by the organization to obtain these qualifications.
* Minimum of 5–7 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
* Minimum of five years of demonstrated leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting.
* Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and workforce management.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations, patient care initiatives, and clinical quality programs.
* Promote a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and employee engagement.
* Partner with physicians, department leaders, and executive leadership to achieve organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
* Oversee nursing staffing, budgeting, performance improvement activities, and regulatory compliance.
* Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care across all nursing departments.
* Support workforce development, succession planning, and nursing professional practice.
