• 12-Hour Shifts (Day & Night openings)
• Weekend Requirement:

• Holiday Rotation:

• Float Requirement:
  Skilled Nursing, OB (Postpartum Care)

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, multitasking ability, and patient-centered care across a diverse patient population.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN License (Required prior to start)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Ability to obtain ACLS & PALS within 6 months of hire
• Strong knowledge of Med Surg nursing practices
• Ability to manage multiple patients (ratio ~6:1)

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN Degree (Preferred)
• Experience in Med Surg or acute care settings
• Experience with IV therapy, wound care, admissions/discharges
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

• 20-Bed Med Surg Unit
• Onsite role in Liberal, KS
• Fast-paced acute care setting

Additional Requirements

• Must be flexible with day/night rotating shifts
• Must be comfortable floating to other units
• Dress Code:
  Minimal jewelry; no visible facial/body piercings (except standard ear piercings)
• Must comply with all clinical and regulatory standards
