Description:
** Receiving Tech
**** Full Time
** We're looking for a precise and personable Receiving Tech to provide accurate accounting for all receivables and inventory accounting.
What You'll Do:
* Accept and verify all incoming shipments, including checking for damages and/or lost shipments
* Make any initial contact with shippers, informing them of any problems, and informing all members of Materials Management about any issues
* Match all packing slips to actual items received, make initial calls to vendors to correct any mismatched shipments
* Deliver all items to the proper area, including the three different Inventory areas, delivery documents are to be attached to all packages leaving the Materials Management department
* Be responsible for all mail functions including pickup at the Post Office and delivery to the Post Office, ensure that all outgoing mail is gathered and prepared
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Two (2) years in shipping and receiving preferred###
