Description

We are seeking a self‑motivated, responsible, and detail‑oriented Full‑Charge Bookkeeper to join our fast‑growing firm. We provide comprehensive bookkeeping, payroll, and Quick Books training services to a wide variety of clients, and we're looking for someone who thrives in a client‑focused, service‑oriented environment.

What You'll Do

+ Perform monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliations for multiple clients

+ Process payroll for clients with varying schedules

+ Prepare quarterly payroll tax filings across multiple states

+ Complete year‑end closing processes for assigned clients

+ Assist in building tax work papers for client engagements

+ SALARY RANGE: $58,000-$68,000

+

Requirements

What We're Looking For

+ Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, double‑entry accounting, general bookkeeping processes)

+ Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience

+ Accounting degree or certificate preferred

+ Solid understanding of payroll law and willingness to keep up with changing regulations

+ Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop, Quick Books Online, and Microsoft Excel

+ Ability to problem‑solve and work independently

+ Strong attention to detail; ability to verify own work and follow internal controls

+ Professional communication skills with clients

+ Ability to collaborate effectively with other staff bookkeepers

+ Willingness to work overtime during deadline‑driven periods
