About the Role
Relationship Bankers build meaningful, long‑term client relationships by exceeding Breakthrough Client Service Standards, providing customized financial advice, and collaborating with internal bank partners. They engage customers where they prefer to bank, offer education on digital and traditional solutions, and support clients’ financial goals.
Responsibilities- Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients, delivering outstanding service in alignment with the bank’s standards.
- Offer and execute customized financial solutions, uncovering additional client needs through financial and business reviews.
- Open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans and select small‑business loans.
- Educate customers about services from internal partners (e.g., Treasury Management).
- Perform proactive outbound calls to current and prospective consumer and small‑business customers.
- Partner with the branch manager on outbound business development meetings in the community.
- Develop and sustain a pipeline of prospects through in‑branch and outbound activities.
- Support and resolve client issues with digital products and services.
- Participate in community events, volunteerism, and sponsorship initiatives outside of normal business hours.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Minimum of 2years banking and/or sales experience.
- Minimum of 2years developing current and new client relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources in a client‑service and cash‑handling environment.
- Minimum of 2years in a lending function with loan origination and processing responsibilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of consumer and business products and services.
- Proficiency in consumer and business lending, and the ability to understand cash flow, financial statements, and market risk.
- Demonstrated desire and ability to build technology skills across online banking platforms, Bill Pay, E‑Statements, mobile banking, ATM, and business banking applications.
- May act as a Bank MLO for open‑end transactions only; MLOs must register per SAFE Act requirements.
Pay range: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
Primary Location21601 Country Vista Drive, 1st Floor, Liberty Lake, WA 99019. Must work fully onsite.
