Activities Aide Na-C Certified

Liberty Lake, WA $5,339 - $7,509 a year

Job Type: Full Time

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Aide to lead and support a variety of recreational, social, and spiritual activities designed to engage and enrich the lives of residents in a healthcare setting located in the Pacific Northwest region. This part-time role primarily involves day shifts totaling 48 hours per pay period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and oversee diverse activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being of residents.
  • Conduct Activity Assessments within 14 days of admission and for swing bed patients, documenting care plans accurately in EPIC.
  • Respond promptly to resident concerns, including notifying licensed staff when pain is reported.
  • Maintain and organize activity equipment and supplies to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Provide compassionate support to residents, including those confined to their rooms, respecting their cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
  • Assist residents with voter registration and address updates as needed.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • NA-C certification preferred; HCA certification acceptable.
  • Experience in a residential care or similar healthcare environment is necessary.
  • Additional training in developmental disabilities, mental health, and dementia is advantageous.
  • Food Handler's Card is preferred.
Professional Requirements:
  • Maintain all regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in attendance and task completion.
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and team members.
