Product Management Specialist

Itron is innovating new ways for utilities and cities to manage energy and water. Join us as a Product Management Specialist where you will drive the Mobile Software and Equipment product line for the Networks Business.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and external partners to define detailed product designs, functional specifications, project plans, and testing strategies.
• Act as a customer‑centric partner to sales and service delivery teams, supporting pricing, delivery coordination, and technical inquiries.
• Lead engaging technical presentations for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, communicating product capabilities and differentiation.
• Represent Itron at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events, promoting product solutions with authenticity and enthusiasm.
• Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, training, engineering, partners, and installation teams to develop accurate, accessible, and compelling product documentation and enablement materials.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering product training to internal teams and guiding service delivery teams on evolving technologies and best practices.
• Provide expert consultation to support the planning, design, and development of technical solutions aligned with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.
• Take ownership of complex technical support cases and drive resolution while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Investigate technical issues, collaborate with engineering and support teams, and proactively drive issues to closure using an agile, solutions‑oriented approach.
• Travel up to 10% to support customer engagements, partner collaboration, and industry events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong technical foundation and ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, innovative technology environment.
• Demonstrated accountability for delivering high‑quality, customer‑focused outcomes aligned with organizational goals.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Results‑driven and proactive mindset, supported by strong analytical, strategic, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Highly organized, flexible, and agile, able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a global or cross‑regional environment.
• Experience supporting or delivering technology solutions within the Utilities & Energy sector.

• Competitive salary range: $75,000 – $166,000 (determined by skills, experience, and location).
