Job Description

The Enterprise Automation Developer I is responsible for designing, developing, documenting and supporting enterprise automation solutions for STCU using automation tools and modern program language. This position works with other members of an Agile/SCRUM team to create and construct automation solutions and performs Tier I support for maintenance, troubleshooting, automation, and scripting.

Core Job Requirements/Outcomes

  • Breakdown assembled work order specifications into manageable tasks for Agile/SCRUM solution development by working with product, business, and application owners to understand business needs and requirements.
  • Develop foundational skills/ knowledge across all automation disciplines by using resources and initiative to assist with design, development, testing, deployment and support of workflow solutions, forms administration, eSign, and job automation, independently and integrated. Automate tasks and processes for efficiency using automation software, Power Shell and other methods. Quality of work output and time- management for throughput is expected to meet identified requirements.
  • Contribute to operational efficiencies, accountability, and error reduction by designing, developing, configuring and implementing automation solutions, leveraging expertise to produce solutions that enable global consistency, standardization, optimized performance, and minimal technical debt.
  • Successfully deploy new automations by adhering to current Automation Development Lifecycle (ADLC) standards. Take an active ownership role in the security and protection of member and organizational data/records.

Other Essential Functions

  • Support deployments of new technologies through enterprise and department level projects.
  • Ensure a stable and well documented automation environment by following established procedures/standards, updating documentation when differences from current practice exist, and coordinating maintenance with other teams and the users when applicable.
  • Contribute to and support a positive work environment to ensure an effective, high preforming and cohesive team, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications

Location:

This position may be performed remotely from a state where STCU is authorized to employ workers:
Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or Wyoming. Candidates who currently reside within commuting distance of STCU Headquarters in Liberty Lake, Washington are preferred due to onsite collaboration opportunities and operational needs.

Education:

Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field of study or specialized training from an accredited vocational school.

Job

Experience:

Minimum three years' of experience in technology management and/or developing enterprise business process automation solutions to include design, implementation, and maintenance. Analytical and trouble-shooting skills with ability to solve small to medium problems, with flexibility and sound judgement.

Software

Skills:

Experience with Automation Tools - Automate, Hyland-OnBase, SharePoint Designer/Nintex or similar programs preferred. Average Power Shell or other modern scripting language experience and general knowledge/awareness of modern development tools. Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 25 pounds with accommodations.

Work Conditions:
Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. This role is part of an on-call rotation with a one hour or less required response time.
