Associate Designer jewelry and Soft Accessories

Job Summary

Associate Designer – Jewelry & Soft Accessories. Work closely with manager to formulate concepts, select color stories each season, prepare presentation boards with illustrations, CAD artwork, fabrication, materials and samples. Research seasonal trends, themes, colors, raw materials and styling. Execute seasonal line list and meet product development calendar deadlines. Collaborate with Technical Design, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure accurate specifications, quality, and design vision from concept to finished product.

Conduct fittings and coordinate colorways of print and pattern with Designer CADDING.

• Formulate concepts and color stories for each season.
• Prepare professional presentation boards with illustrations, CAD artwork, fabrication details, materials and samples.
• Research seasonal trends, themes, colors, raw materials and styling for selected classifications.
• Execute seasonal line list and meet product development calendar deadlines.
• Collaborate with Technical Design, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure accuracy of specifications, quality and design vision.
• Conduct fittings and coordinate colorways of print and pattern with Designer CADDING.

• 2‑4 years design experience, including accessories experience.
• Background in apparel or product design (degree preferred).
• High taste level and creative ability, strong color sense.
• Excellent presentation, written and communication skills.
• Team player, proactive, strong follow‑through, ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabric/trim, illustration, sketching, lab dips.
• Expertise in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• BA in Design or related field preferred.

$64,200.00 – $79,600.00, based on region and experience.
