Description
Our Lamar office in Youngstown, Ohio is hiring a new Operations crew member to help bring outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in the Youngstown area. This action‑packed role provides all the training and equipment needed to launch a career in outdoor advertising.
Benefits- Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. work schedule
- Hourly rate: $18.00 – $20.00, based on experience and qualifications

- Install and maintain billboard structures and advertising media, including flexes, vinyls, and Tri‑Vision signage.
- Repair structures: tighten bolts, paint steel, replace trim and sign face components, change light bulbs, assemble extensions.
- Conduct storm‑damage repairs, minor electrical work, and maintain workshop areas.
- Use power and hand tools while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Attend safety meetings as required.
- Maintain operation vehicles, tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Document installations by taking completion photographs and maintaining written logs.
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English.
- Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive team environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (Internet navigation, Microsoft Word & Excel).
- Compliance with Lamar safety standards during all activities.
- Ability to use ladders, haul equipment, and move tools from vehicles.
- Working knowledge of electrical, fabrication, and construction techniques.
- Skill reading technical documents such as blueprints and diagrams.
- Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and Lamar safety regulations.
- Experience operating construction equipment related to outdoor structure work.
- Comfortable climbing and working at heights above ground.
- Documentation skills: photographing installations and maintaining logs.
- Mathematical proficiency for construction and operations tasks.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Completion of the OSHA 10‑hour Construction course.
- Preferred certifications: CDL/Non‑CDL, Crane, Signal, Rigging, or LDD.
- Previous experience working at heights up to 200 feet (preferred).
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Physical Demands & Work Environment- Primary work environment: outdoors, subject to adverse weather and heights up to 200 feet.
- Physical demands: heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds), extensive bending, pushing, reaching, and the ability to read, color‑distinguish, and maintain peripheral vision; less than 50% sitting, standing, stooping, talking, turning, walking, driving, and climbing.
- Occasional travel and less than 10% nights away from home.
- Night shifts and on‑call duties may occur.
