Job Summary:

Responsible for controlling the movement and handling of product

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Works under general supervision in accordance with verbal instructions and prescribed procedures

Driving diesel powered front end loaders with forks to move, lift or stack products in the yard.

Exercises care to assure load is balanced and safe.

Loads and unloads material in an orderly safe manner

Stays alert to note load shifts, improper balance and vehicle malfunction

Performs daily and preventative maintenance to forklifts.

Notifies supervisor of any problems.

Performs additional responsibilities in accordance with company requirements.

Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, ERP system, etc.

Must be able to operate a Front End loader with forks. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must have good verbal communication skills. Must be willing to work rotating shifts. Must have safety as a priority. Ideal candidate will have excellent attendance, good work ethic, able to work overtime as needed.
