Job Summary:
• This position is based in Liberty, MO, and offers a full-time hybrid work arrangement with the potential for remote work after six months.
• The role involves processing and managing invoices, communicating with vendors, and supporting the accounting department.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software and financial systems is required.
Description:
• Process payable invoices according to standard procedures.
• Input or upload data with accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and handle vendor correspondence.
• Manage department mail and document retention.
• Assist in preparing audit responses.
• Support the Accounts Payable Manager and accounting team.
• Meet team goals and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of invoices into financial systems.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in invoices.
• Communicate with vendors via phone or email.
• Organize and manage department mail and document retention.
• Assist with audit preparations and responses.
Qualifications:
• Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in spreadsheet software.
• Experience in invoice processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
