The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Endocrinology, is seeking a faculty Endocrinologist to join its team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of patient care while fulfilling teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region’s qua ternary referral center. This position will have clinical responsibilities at both Liberty and Main campuses. This position offers a multifaceted role centered on providing exceptional patient care across ambulatory clinics, inpatient consults, and on-call services, with emphasis on meticulous documentation to ensure comprehensive medical follow-up and timely billing.
The role includes educating and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in both clinical and classroom settings, fostering their professional growth and evaluating their progress accordingly. In addition to educational opportunities, this position can evolve to include active involvement in research within the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Genetics, including trials and grant-funded studies. Collaboration within the Division, Department, and School faculty activities is encouraged, tailored to schedule demands.
The selected individual will be appointed at the Assistant Professor level within the Department.
- Provide clinical care across ambulatory clinics, inpatient consults, and on-call services.
- Maintain meticulous documentation for comprehensive medical follow-up and timely billing.
- Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and classroom settings.
- Engage in research opportunities within the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Genetics as available.
- Collaborate with Division, Department, and School faculty on activities that fit schedule demands.
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Fellowship-trained and board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
