The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a board eligible/board certified Pulmonologist to join its dedicated team, where we prioritize collaboration, community care, and patient‑centered excellence. This position will have clinical responsibilities at Liberty and Main Campuses.
This role involves a blend of outpatient care, inpatient rounding, and ICU responsibilities within a group of four pulmonary/critical care physicians and will require managing a 20‑bed open ICU with EICU coverage available from 7 pm to 7 am.
The team has access to a variety of resources, including CT surgery, pulmonary rehabilitation, a sleep lab, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy.
Call rotation for this individual will follow a 1:4 schedule, and there is the opportunity to collaborate with nurse practitioners.
The physician will provide advanced, evidence‑based care for patients with complex pulmonary vascular diseases within a leading academic medical center. This role encompasses inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities, collaboration with a multidisciplinary pulmonary hypertension team, and active participation in clinical research, quality improvement, and program development.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows, and is expected to engage in scholarly activities that advance the understanding and treatment of pulmonary hypertension.

- Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible in Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Hypertension Medicine
