Hallmark is seeking an Industrial Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design, analysis, and improvement of distribution processes, systems, and workflows within our distribution centers. This role blends hands-on industrial engineering with strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement to drive meaningful business impact.

This position is located onsite full-time at Hallmark's Liberty Distribution Center in Liberty, MO. Relocation assistance is not provided.

The Industrial Engineer will:

• Lead industrial engineering efforts focused on improving distribution processes, systems, and workflows from concept through implementation.
• Develop labor standards, capacity models, and cost estimates to support business cases, capital planning, and operational decisions.
• Analyze current-state processes and design future-state solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, flow, and cost performance.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving tools to reduce waste, improve throughput, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain standard work, process documentation, layouts, and supporting technical materials.
• Support production and quality teams by troubleshooting and resolving process-, flow-, and system-related issues.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, quality, supply chain, engineering, vendors, and customers to meet project timelines and milestones.
• Identify, evaluate, and help implement innovative methods, technologies, and best practices that advance Hallmark's distribution capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems, or comparable)
• Previous experience in a Distribution environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
• Ability to influence, coach, and collaborate effectively across functions
• Strong background in Lean/continuous improvement and process optimization
• Experience with WMS, layout design, and material handling systems
• Ability to evaluate and implement new technologies
• Project management experience leading process or system improvements
• Excel (advanced), SQL / Python, Visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
