Lead Fulfillment Associate

Amazon’s operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Lead Fulfillment Associates will perform production duties such as picking/packing orders, receiving/stowing product, ensuring inventory accuracy, and unloading/loading trucks. They will also communicate instructions to other associates, motivate them, and maintain safe work areas.

Lead Fulfillment Associates hold various roles within the Fulfillment Center. The following are key role types and their primary responsibilities:

  • ISS Representative
    :
    Acts as the link between Corporate Retail Teams and the FC, handling ticket reporting and re‑escalation. Facilitates resolution of problems that cannot be handled in the RC and manages Retail Request Tickets.
  • Process Assistant
    :
    Supports daily management of department duties including labor allocation, meeting leadership, job assignment, and supplier communication. Escalates barriers to Operations leaders and drives standard work in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Dock Clerk
    :
    Manages inbound flow from appointment scheduling to receipt, coordinates with carriers and corporate transportation, and leads dock personnel.
  • Receiving Clerk
    :
    Schedules inbound deliveries in dock master using Advance Ship Notices, communicates with carriers, and trains backup clerks.
  • Shipping Clerk
    :
    Corresponds with multiple shipping companies, uses their software to ship and track packages, and coordinates trailers to dock doors using the OMA tool.
  • Non‑Inventory Receive Clerk
    :
    Works with Procurement to manage flow of non‑inventory goods, organize supplies, research missing shipments, stage product, and operate PIT equipment.
  • Regulated Waste Coordinator
    :
    Leads the Waste Program within the FC, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining oversight over the waste process.
  • Amazon Robotics (AR) Quarterback
    :
    Monitors the robotic field’s floor health and dispatches work for Amnesty Floor Monitors to minimize operational impact.
  • Floor Health Monitor
    :
    Performs tasks on the AR floor such as restarting drives or assisting associates with amnesty processing.
  • Data Analyst
    :
    Provides data and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigations, and compliance with ICQA‑related SoX requirements.

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for up to 12‑hour shifts, including frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
  • Work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A completed Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others.
  • 1+ year working in a manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or large retail environment.
  • Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

The starting pay for this position is $23.00 per hour, and includes applicable shift differentials. Additional earnings may include overtime pay and performance bonuses. Amazon offers EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, and 401(k) matching.
