Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner – Day Shift

ABM Industries is seeking a Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner for the day shift. The role involves cleaning and maintaining assigned work areas from Wednesday to Saturday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Compensation is $16.00 per hour.

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities, including floors, ceilings, walls, furniture, and equipment.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify the manager of the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co‑workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas using hand trucks or manual labor.
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Wash and replace blinds.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, and removing snow.
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required.

• Customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of similar work experience.
