Experienced Project Manager - Commercial Electrical

Bart’s Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager II – Commercial Electrical to manage mid-to-large scale commercial electrical construction projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for overall project performance including budget, schedule, manpower coordination, client communication, and risk management.

The Project Manager II operates independently and may oversee multiple projects simultaneously while mentoring junior project managers or field leaders.

• Manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction handoff to final closeout
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasting
• Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure scope alignment
• Manage subcontractors and vendor procurement
• Lead project meetings with general contractors and clients
• Prepare and negotiate change orders
• Monitor manpower planning and productivity
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure safety compliance and company standards are upheld
• Support and guide field foremen and superintendents

• 6+ years of commercial electrical experience
• 3–5 years of project management experience in electrical construction
• Experience managing projects $1M–$10M+
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and NEC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
• Experience with project management software (Procore, Viewpoint, etc.) preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Journeyman Electrician background
• Experience in design-build or negotiated projects
• Experience working with multi-state commercial projects
• Ability to travel as required
