Sr. Project Manager - Commercial Electrical

Bart’s Electric is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong field knowledge, understands commercial electrical systems, and can lead both internal teams and client relationships effectively.

• Manage multiple commercial electrical projects simultaneously
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and subcontractors
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure scope accuracy
• Conduct project meetings with clients, GCs, and internal teams
• Manage change orders and ensure proper documentation
  
  Monitor job progress and provide updates to leadership
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Support field foremen and superintendents with technical guidance

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
• 3+ years of project management experience in electrical construction
• Strong understanding of NEC and commercial electrical systems
• Experience managing projects from $500K to multi-million dollar range
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project)
• Experience with project management software preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Journeyman Electrician background
• Experience with design-build projects
• Experience working with commercial general contractors
• Ability to travel if required
