ARMO Welder IV

The ARMO Welder IV plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by producing high‑quality welded assemblies while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency. In this role, you will utilize your welding expertise, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to support production objectives and ensure products meet company and industry requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Prioritize production orders to support delivery schedules and operational requirements.
  • Perform layouts and prepare materials for welding activities.
  • Position, align, and fit components together according to specifications.
  • Bolting, clamping, and tack‑welding parts to secure them in position prior to final welding.
  • Set up welding equipment and execute welding operations using manual and automated processes.
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.
  • Follow all manufacturing procedures, quality requirements, and company policies.
  • Support additional manufacturing activities and perform other duties assigned based on workload and business needs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
  • Welding certificate from a college, technical school, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 6 months of TIG and MIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to meet company QA welder qualifications, including NADCAP certification requirements.
  • Intermediate math, measurement, and reading skills.
  • Experience safely operating industrial equipment, including manual welders, MIG welders, TIG welders, automatic welders, plasma cutters, and cutting torches.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers, supervisors, management, vendors, and customers.
  • Willingness to follow manufacturing procedures and company policies consistently.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Physical ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes.
