RN – TELEMETRY
Schedule
12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, every other weekend and holidays are required.
Assignment Details
Contract length: 16 weeks. Guaranteed hours are based on the schedule.
Requirements
- 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
- RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with EMR systems is preferred; familiarity with Altera Sunrise is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding health management.
Compliance / Notes
This is a nicotine-free facility. Orientation consists of a 2-day program, followed by clinical orientation and additional computer training. Candidates must also prepare for possible shift cancellations.
