Quality Control Inspector

Pay Rate$22/hr – $26/hr (W2, Inclusive)
Work Schedule- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
- Hours:
40 hours/week
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Control Inspector to support manufacturing operations by ensuring all products meet quality standards, engineering drawings, and customer specifications. This role will be responsible for receiving, in‑process, and final inspections, as well as maintaining calibration of precision measuring equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing quality environments, strong attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform receiving inspection of incoming materials and components
- Conduct first article, in‑process, and final inspections for CNC‑machined and fabricated parts
- Ensure all products meet drawings, work orders, and customer specifications
- Identify and document non‑conforming parts, and route them appropriately
- Maintain and calibrate precision measuring equipment (gauges, pressure instruments, etc.)
- Track and record inspection data in ERP systems and internal databases
- Develop and maintain non‑conformance reports and quality charts
- Route accepted parts to the next stage of production
- Follow company procedures and applicable industry standards/certifications
- Support additional quality and production tasks as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Basic to intermediate math and reading comprehension skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of computers, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office
- Associate’s degree in Industrial Technology or related field
- Experience in CNC machining or manufacturing quality control
- Familiarity with inspection tools and calibration processes
- Knowledge of quality standards and certification requirements
- Manufacturing / production floor setting
- Fast‑paced environment with focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
- Requires standing, walking, and handling inspection tools/equipment
