About the Role Provide technical expertise for programming, installation, and maintenance of new and existing manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues, support production and skilled trades, and drive continuous improvement — all with safety as top priority.
What You'll Do Diagnose and repair electrical/controls issues; ensure operator safety devices function properly
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, ladder logic, and robot interfacing
Oversee equipment upgrades and programming changes; improve cycle times on robotic welding/assembly lines
Maintain documentation and train production/maintenance team members
Evaluate equipment and recommend upgrades or repairs
Partner with production, vendors, and contractors to resolve issues quickly
What You Need High school diploma or GED required2–4 year Electrical Engineering degree (or related field) and/or 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience
Strong PLC programming and robot teach/programming skills
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and control wiring
Understanding of metal stamping, spot welding, and assembly processes
Good communication, organizational, and computer skills
Physical Requirements Lift up to 40 lbs; bend, climb, stand, and walk as needed
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around electrical/environmental hazards
Able to work various plant locations and rotate shifts, including weekend overtime
