Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Field Service Supervisor to join our field operations team. This hands‑on position requires extensive travel throughout the United States to install industrial wear protection products, including ceramic and refractory lining systems, at customer facilities such as cement plants, power plants, grain processing facilities, and other industrial sites. As a working leader, you will actively participate in field installations while coordinating daily job site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

You will serve as the primary on‑site representative for the company, maintaining strong customer relationships, mentoring team members, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. During field assignments, work schedules may include up to seven days per week, and 12‑hour shifts based on project requirements. When not traveling, you will assist in the welding and fabrication shop with manufacturing, fabrication, equipment preparation, estimating support, and shop operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install ceramic, refractory, and other industrial wear products at customer locations.
  • Lead by example by working alongside field crews while supervising daily job site operations.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Promote and enforce all company and customer safety policies while proactively identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
  • Serve as the primary on‑site contact for customers by providing project updates, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with project planning, equipment staging, material coordination, staffing, and logistics before, during, and after each project.
  • Monitor project progress, labor, and costs while providing input for estimating, quoting, scheduling, and forecasting.
  • Assist with welding, fabrication, equipment preparation, and shop production activities when not traveling.
  • Mentor, train, and coach field personnel to develop technical skills, teamwork, and safe work practices.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational processes.
