The Liberty Middle School is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and student-centered Technology Education Teacher to join our Middle School team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hands-on learning, design thinking, and preparing students for 21st-century careers in STEM, engineering, and digital trade.

• Curriculum Delivery:
  Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with NYS Learning Standards for Technology Education.

• Hands-on Instruction:
  Instruct students in laboratory settings involving wood/metal fabrication, robotics, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and digital media.

• Safety Management:
  Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop/lab environment; ensure all students are trained in the proper use of tools and machinery.

• Integration:
  Collaborate with Science and Math departments to create interdisciplinary STEM projects.

• Career Readiness:
  Guide students in exploring CTE pathways and potentially overseeing Work-Based Learning (WBL) opportunities.

• Professionalism:
  Participate in faculty meetings, professional development (CTLE), and parent-teacher conferences.

• Certification:
  Valid New York State Teaching Certificate in Technology Education (All Grades or 7-12).

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Technology Education or a related field (Master's required for Professional Certification).

• Clearance:
  Ability to pass NYS Fingerprint Clearance (OSR/TEACH).

• Experience working with diverse learner populations and implementing IEP/504 accommodations.
