Surveyor Position
Perform and oversee topographic, boundary, construction, and as-built surveys
Prepare and maintain site maps, plats, alignments, and geospatial data
Support civil, structural, and utility design with accurate survey inputs
Coordinate survey activities with engineering, construction, and project management teams
Utilize GPS, total stations, drones, and LiDAR technologies
Process and analyze field data using industry-standard software
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations
Assist with easements, right-of-way documentation, and permitting support
Maintain accurate records and survey control networks for long-term site development
Support future site expansion and infrastructure planning
Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RPLS) license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
5+ years of experience in land surveying and mapping, preferably on industrial or infrastructure projects
Proficiency with survey and GIS software (e.g., Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica, ArcGIS)
Strong understanding of construction staking, site grading, and utility layouts
Experience working on medium, large, multi-phase sites is a plus
Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills
Power generation, energy, or heavy industrial facilities
Large campus or master-planned developments
Drone-based mapping or LiDAR data processing
