Material Handler

Move Materials Safely. Support Production. Keep Operations Running.

Verdant Specialty Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to support the safe handling, storage, and shipment of specialty chemical materials at our manufacturing facility. This role ensures raw materials and finished goods are received, staged, packaged, and shipped in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

This position works on-site and follows a Monday–Friday schedule.

  Play a key role in ensuring materials flow safely and efficiently through the facility.

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload bulk and packaged materials from trucks.
• Receive, stage, and prepare raw materials for production.
• Select, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Secure materials on pallets using banding and related equipment.
• Apply proper labeling in accordance with DOT and site requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory transactions.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories.
• Follow safety procedures, work permits, and site operating requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned work areas.

• Basic computer skills with ability to learn ERP system transactions.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing, processing, or batching environment preferred.
