Responsibilities
Meridell Achievement Center is a 134-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility located northwest of Austin. Our 60-acre campus features mature oaks, rolling hills, walking paths, a swimming pool, gymnasium, sports court, and playing fields. We provide 24‑hour psychiatric care to girls and boys ages 10 to 17 with customized therapeutic approaches and intensive behavioral programs to help them manage emotions, moderate behavior, and improve social functioning.
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. In this role you will greet facility guests, ascertain their needs, ensure all guests are signed in, and provide name badges. You will direct guests to appropriate areas, assist callers and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel, and provide administrative support to all incoming admissions. You will also perform intake work when needed.

- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Three years of experience
- Current driver license
- Ability to pass a drug screen and state background check
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information
- Demonstrate effective organization
