Senior Landscape Architect – High-End Residential

Process-Smart is hiring a Senior Landscape Architect for a well-established, high-end residential landscape design firm on Chicago's North Shore. This is a senior, technically demanding seat for someone who can independently run large-scale residential projects ($1M+) and produce architect-level construction documents from concept through issuance for construction.

• Lead high-end residential designs from concept through a complete, executable set of plans
• Create material take-offs and specifications (wood, metal, iron) ready for procurement and fabrication
• Coordinate drawings and details with architects, engineers, and contractors
• Interface directly with clients on sales calls, design presentations, and status meetings
• Collaborate with estimation and production teams to value-engineer and deliver on budget

• 7+ years of high-end residential landscape design and construction-documentation experience, including demonstrated experience leading $1M+ projects
• Proven ability to produce full construction detail sets (hardscape/masonry, foundations, utilities, take-offs)
• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture required;
  PLA/RLA licensure preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office;
  Sketch Up/Photoshop/Lumion a strong plus (dedicated junior staff support rendering, so construction-documentation strength matters most)
• Strong communicator, self-starter, and team player

• On-site in Libertyville, IL (open to candidates across the greater Chicago area)
