Libertyville School District 70 is seeking a Long-term Substitute Early Childhood Teacher for the Little Sprouts program at Butterfield School from approximately March 30th to the end of the school year. The first 10 days are paid at $145 per day, and the remaining days are paid at $220.12 per day.
Qualifications:- Appropriate State of Illinois License
- Endorsements in Special Education at the PK level
- Student teaching and/or current experience at this grade level preferred
To create a flexible pre-kindergarten program for 3 to 5 year old children to ensure learning and personal growth; to motivate students to develop speech abilities, attitudes, skills and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for further participation in the total school program, in accordance with each student’s ability; to build strong ties between home and school; to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
