The Board of Education of Calumet Park School District 132 announces the opening of a search for a new Superintendent who will assume responsibilities on July 1, 2026. This opportunity provides a dedicated, long-term, career-focused educator, the forum for leading this highly diverse school system. Calumet Park School District's mission is to partner with families, communities, and educational staff to develop the academic, social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs of all students in pursuit of academic excellence.

School District 132 is located in South Cook County, Illinois, approximately 15-20 miles south of downtown Chicago, which provides the right candidate with the opportunity to enjoy all the entertainment and cultural events the city has to offer. District 132 consists of three schools with a total of approximately 910 students. Students are housed in a PreK-2 school, a grades 3-5 school and a 6-8 school.

District 132 schools are supported by caring parents, a committed teaching and support staff, a strong administrative team and a dedicated Board of Education.

A salary range of $175,000-$225,000 will be offered to the successful candidate. Applicants will be informed of the Board's selection and appointment of the new superintendent. The final selection and appointment of the new superintendent is the sole responsibility of the Board of Education.
