PositionSummary
The Extended Care Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during after-school hours. This role includes supervising playtime, assisting with homework or quiet activities, and maintaining a positive atmosphere that supports the school’s values and community.
Qualifications- Experience working with children in a classroom, childcare, or recreational setting
- Virtus training (or willingness to complete upon hire)
- High school diploma or higher education required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students
This position has an annualized hourly salary range of $16.00 - $17.50. An employee’s pay within the hourly salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
