The Manufacturing / Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products procured or manufactured meet internal and customer quality standards. This role supports operations through process design, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, while providing technical expertise across manufacturing and quality functions.

• Maintain product setup and documentation including part numbers, BOMs, routings, labor rates, and descriptions.

• Perform cost analysis for new and existing parts; process engineering change notices.

• Conduct time studies to determine process times and manufacturing capacities.

• Interpret product drawings, specifications, and engineering data to develop processes.

• Provide technical support for operations such as tooling, stamping, perforating, forming, and welding.

• Define and optimize manufacturing sequences for costing, fabrication, and assembly while ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.

• Develop and implement corrective action plans for process improvements or customer complaints.

• Prepare and maintain Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.

• Initiative: Proactively identifies and solves problems, takes ownership, and maintains productivity despite obstacles.

• Customer Focus: Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, acting with their needs in mind.

• Priority Setting: Quickly identifies key priorities and eliminates distractions to maintain focus.

• Analytical Thinking: Breaks down complex problems, gathers essential data, and focuses on critical details.

• Results Driven: Consistently exceeds goals with a strong bottom-line orientation.

• Technical Skills: Strong engineering and quality knowledge, with the ability to apply tools effectively.

• Problem Solving: Uses structured methods to uncover root causes and deliver sustainable solutions.

• Process Management: Designs and manages efficient workflows, optimizes resources, and integrates processes effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering and quality roles.

• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems.

• Solid understanding of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

• Metal stamping experience.

• Metal forming experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
