Job Summary
Summer School:
Health Assistant position in Woodland School District 50. Responsibilities include maintaining medical and health records, assisting nurse with student health services, and clerical duties.
- High School Diploma
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Exemplary interpersonal, communication, technology, organizational, clerical skills.
- Maintain accurate medical records to assure compliance with state mandates and support data retrieval and analysis
- Keep ongoing records of student visits to the health office documenting assessments, interventions, and dispositions
- Manage school health records per Illinois School Student Records Act, ensuring efficient retrieval and archival responsibilities
- Maintain daily environment of the health office and supplies
- Utilize existing technology effectively and demonstrate computer literacy
- Engage in continuing education to enhance professional knowledge
- Participate actively in school community, representing health/wellness
- Support mutual respect and equal human dignity across the entire school community

Requires manual dexterity, handling average weight materials, and exposure to potentially disagreeable elements. Work is not for sustained periods of heavy lifting.
Terms of EmploymentJune 8, 2026 – July 2, 2026;
Monday thru Friday; 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Minimum of $15.64 per hour. Current D50 employees in this position receive their current rate of pay.
