Position:SAP FICO Solution Architect
Location:Libertyville, IL (Hybrid – Local candidates preferred)
Salary Range:salary + Bonus (10–15%)
Job Description:
The SAP FICO Solution Architect will work closely with Finance business leaders to align SAP-based solutions with Finance strategies. The role involves designing and implementing SAP FICO solutions, collaborating with global delivery teams, and supporting users in adopting SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Controlling functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement financial solutions using SAP to enable accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Facilitate workflows, integrations, customizations, and deployments.
- Partner with accounting teams for enhancements and new functionalities.
- Perform root cause analysis and optimize SAP system performance.
- Recommend SAP best practices for upgrades and releases.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Experience & Skills Required:
- 10+ years of progressive SAP S/4 HANA FICO experience (incl. 2+ years as Solution Architect).
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA (1809 and above) – solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, and post-go-live support.
- Experience with Open Text Vendor Invoice Management for AP processing.
- Hands-on with Finance reporting, ABAP, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, GL applications, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Education:BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Travel:Limited, to various VGC locations.
