Sr. Salesforce Technical Project Manager
Job DescriptionPerform technical program or project management across a variety of Commercial Patient Services projects.
Project Planning and Management- Create project charter including scope, objectives, team, stakeholders, budget and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
- Serve as a facilitator for agile ceremonies, such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, scrum of scrum call and sprint / release retrospection.
- Promote and support agile methodologies within the team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and BTS management.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Remove obstacles blocking team progress and enhance team productivity.
- Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle.
- Develop mitigation strategies and coordinate the resolution of issues as they arise.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, updates, and insights to stakeholders regularly.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and incorporate it into project planning and execution.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
- Track project expenses and adjust as necessary to stay within budget.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements in compliance with Abb Vie Dev Ops / IT SLC standards.
- Ensure all the stage gates are completed on time for successful deployment.
- Ensure pre‑deployment and post‑deployment activities are successfully completed.
- Ensure handoff to operations team is comprehensively completed, including functional & technical KT, SOP creation & approval, hyper care, etc.
- Possess a solid understanding of technical concepts to effectively manage and communicate with development teams.
- Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with overall project goals.
1. Project Planning and Management
- Outcome:
Develop comprehensive project charters and detailed project plans with defined scope, objectives, budget, and deliverables. - 100% of project charters and plans are completed and approved by stakeholders within the agreed timeframe.
- Outcome:
Facilitate agile ceremonies effectively to ensure team adherence to agile methodologies and best practices. - Conduct 100% of scheduled agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand‑ups, sprint planning) with documented outcomes and action points.
- Outcome:
Enhance team productivity through effective communication and collaboration. - Report a reduction of at least 70% in team‑reported obstacles within each project cycle.
- Achieving a minimum 90% satisfaction rate from team members in periodic collaboration and communication surveys.
- Outcome:
Proactively manage risks and issues to minimize impact on project delivery. - Identify and document 100% of known risks and issues.
- Resolve 90% of critical risks/issues within two weeks of identification.
- Outcome:
Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and communication. - Deliver project status updates to stakeholders with 100% on‑time delivery.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback into planning and execution with at least 90% acceptance rate on adjustments.
- Outcome:
Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring resource utilization within agreed limits. - Keep project expenses within the allocated budget throughout the project lifecycle.
- Avoid resource overloading and maximize resource utilization.
- Complete 100% pre‑deployment, post‑deployment activities, and project stage gates on time.
- Achieve zero critical incidents post‑deployment within the hyper care period.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, management, or related field.
- Total of 10+ Years of Experience in IT Industry, 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP or Prince2) and agile certifications are plus.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Experience using Smartsheet, Jira, MPP, SharePoint.
- Working experience in Salesforce implementations and running salesforce‑based project.
- Experience in non‑liner/dynamic project management with adoptive.
