Job Description:
- As a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of our SQL Server environments.
- Your primary responsibilities will revolve around performance tuning, automation, and providing robust application support.
- The role also involves working with advanced SQL Server features, as well as having experience with replication and log shipping.
- Knowledge of Postgre
SQL and MySQL is a plus, reflecting our commitment to versatility in database management.
Skills:
- Analyze and optimize database and server performance.
- Develop and maintain automated processes for routine database tasks. Streamline operational procedures through automation to improve productivity.
- Collaborate closely with application development teams to provide database support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues affecting application performance.
- Configure and manage database replication/Log shipping solution for HA/scalability/DR.
- Leverage advanced SQL Server features to enhance database functionality.
- Implement security measures for protecting sensitive data within the SQL Server environment.
